Intro to Sewing (project: card case)
Description:
Total rookie to sewing? Haven't picked up your presser foot in a while? Want to make a nice little gift for someone?
This intro to sewing class will review the parts of a basic, mechanical sewing machine, as well as how to cut fabric, and make and turn hems.
Tools and materials are included. If there is fabric you want to use, feel free to bring it. You will need 1/4 yard or less of cotton broadcloth (quilting section in the fabric store).
If you want to bring your own sewing machine, that is fine; please have familiarity with sewing on it, as we cannot stop the pace of the class in order to troubleshoot.
